So torrential was the rain that it caused their nearby creek to flood whilst out a challenge, and on return they discovered that the flooded creek had arrived at their camp and washed away a large amount of their supplies. In the second season, the contestants were faced with harsh conditions in the Australian Outback, from bushfires right through to torrential rain. There are some moments in Survivor that are memorable despite them not being caused by any players of the game. The Flood Destroys the Camp – Australian Outback (5%) For the record, Billy and Candice never worked out. Billy was then sent home, but he had left his mark on the Survivor world. A stunned Jeff Probst was left shocked, as his fellow tribe members were also bemused. Billy was berated by his tribe for lack of work ethic, but to Billy going home didn’t matter as he famously declared he had ‘fallen in love in the game’ with Candice and that it was ‘love at first site’. It was a passing moment that would become vital in what would occur that night in tribal council. Candice briefly mentioned that ‘we love you’ to Billy, to which Billy replied ‘I love you’. The situation came about after the Aitutaki tribe lost immunity (which it was revealed to have done so deliberately) and a dejected Billy confided in Candice and Parvati from the Rarotonga tribe, letting them know he was next. A good friend of ours on the show having made three appearances, Billy is well known for his skull shirt, bandana and goatee but perhaps the main reason he is so memorable comes down to the fact that he publically announced he was in love on national TV to a woman he hardly had any interaction with. Billy Declares His Love for Candice – Cook Islands (4%)įor somebody who went out second, Billy Garcia certainly has become very well known from his time on Survivor. The situation became so famous that Probst has since come out and said that they always have chocolate and peanut butter on stand by at challenges should a similar scenario present itself. Both Jenna and Heidi promptly removed their clothes and then themselves from the challenge, and enjoyed probably the most satisfying plate of food they have ever had in their lives. Jenna and Heidi were quick to announce that they would be willing to remove their clothes if it meant they could have some chocolate and peanut butter, and within minutes Probst returned with a plate of both the requested foods. During an endurance challenge in which the contestants had to see how long they could stand on a poll above water for immunity, Jeff Probst announced that he would tempt the contestants with various food offerings throughout it. Jenna & Heidi get Naked – Amazon (4%)īesides Richard Hatch and his naked antics in the first season of Borneo, the most famous naked scene in the history of the show has to be Jenna & Heidi getting naked for chocolate and peanut butter in the Amazon. It also resinated enough with you to give it 25th place in our poll. Eliza’s reaction certainly resinated with the fans, with many people uttering those famous words to her when meeting her in person and online. Eliza and Jason had a spirited discussion (which included those four famous words) and it was decided that although they knew it was fake, they would play it anyway just in case it was real. The ‘idol’ in question was simply a stick with a face carved on it, and had previously been planted by Ozzy who had the real idol. He sided with Eliza in an attempt to blindside Ozzy, but when Eliza was shown the idol she realised that Jason had fallen for a fake one. Enter Jason, who had just come back from spending time on exile island and came back with what he thought was a hidden immunity idol. The situation revolved around Eliza knowing she was the next to be voted out, so she needed some form of miracle. In the instance of Eliza and Jason in Micronesia and the debate of whether or not a hidden idol was real, it only took four words: “It’s a fucking stick”. When it comes to some of the best moments in the history of the show, it often only takes a couple of words to sum it up.
